WHAT CAN THIS TRIP OFFER SPONSORS?
Movie Release(s):
Every great adventure has a great story to tell. 2010 will be the final
year of filming for “The Kimberley”. This film will encompass
5 years of expeditions to the Kimberley undertaken by the team, this includes
5 rivers that have only been paddled by the team. Footage shown in this
film includes never seen before shots from previous expeditions where
the team travelled deep into gorges never seen before by Europeans.
This film will showcase the trials and tribulations of expeditions to the
Kimberley. Expedition work in the Kimberley is arguably the most intense
and challenging of its kind. Remoteness, the extremely dangerous fauna and
heat all add to the experience.
A major goal of the film is to showcase the incredible beauty of the Kimberley
while raising awareness of issues facing it. The team will work closely
with Australian Conservation advisers to achieve this.
The filming project is designed to cover both the immediate outdoor community
audience along with the wider home viewer audience.
